Why do I need Advanced Lawn Aeration?

Advanced Lawn Aeration is a microbe superfood for your soil that is 100% organic! Using Advanced Lawn Aeration helps create a healthier microbe population in your grass which will aerate your soil and keep your grass more nutrient-filled for longer. Advanced Lawn Aeration will repair your damaged lawn and will not leave a mess in your yard. Golf courses across the nation are starting to use this superior technique because the results speak for themselves.

You just had a revitalization treatment - now what?

Following your Soil Revitalization treatment, here are our watering recommendations:

  • 3-4 Weeks: water once a day per zone for 15 minutes. Adjust length of time to ensure the lawn is getting enough water and staying moist.

  • After 3-4 weeks return your water schedule to 3-4 days per week for 15-25 minutes per zone (every zone is different don’t be afraid to adjust if one area is dry and another is super wet)

Other tips for watering your lawn:

  • Ensuring there is even coverage from sprinkler irrigation.

  • Water in the mornings and afternoons, avoid watering at night (watering at night creates the perfect environment for disease)

  • Mow once the grass has reached 5 inches in height. (*Only mow when lawn is dry- do not mow when wet)

  • Monitor your lawn for any signs of disease (Discoloring of new grass, spots or lesions on grass blades, brown spots etc.) If you notice any weird spots or colors showing up on your lawn, please give us a call so that we are aware and can set up a time to come assess the lawn.

You just had a hydroseed application - now what?

Following the hydroseed application, please keep children and pets off your new lawn for at least 24 hours to let it dry in.

It is extremely important following your hydroseed application that it gets watered consistently. The following are our recommendations for watering:

  • After the seed has been sprayed, water at least 4-5 times a day, per zone, for at least 10-15 minutes.

    • You may need to adjust rung times to ensure that your lawn is getting enough water and staying moist.

    • Some areas of your yard may dry out quicker than other areas and need more or less time added to those zones.

  • Water like this until you have green grass sprouting all over your yard. Once grass has started to sprout, you may decrease your watering down to 2 times per day.

  • Once the grass has reached about 3 or 4 inches, you may cut watering back to 3 or 4 days a week depending on your grass’s needs.

You just had a sod installed - now what?

It is extremely important following your Sod Installation that it gets watered consistently. The following are our recommendations for watering:

  • Week 1: Water the sod 3-4 times a day per zone for 40 minutes. Keep a close watch on the sod; if you see any sod turning grey or looking dry, adjust your sprinklers to cover all zones.

  • Week 2: Water 1 time a day per zone, for 40 minutes

  • Week 3: Water once a day, every other day for 40 minutes

  • Remaining life of sod: water 2-3 days a week for about 30 minutes. Increase or decrease based on how green you would like your grass.
